Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan (born 10 May 1981) is an Australian actress and model. In Australia she gained notoriety due to her role as Pepper Steiger that she played in the soap opera Neighbors with a total of 100 episodes in the period 2006-2007. In Hollywood, she began with two different projects. First was Hollywood & Wine in which she played a struggling actress. Then by landing a recurring character in the ninth season of Scrubs in the role of Maya an extremely sexy medical student. In the end, the show abruptly stopped. She then returns to filming a comedy produced by the Farrelly brothers Good for shooting accompanied by Jason Sudeikis's Owen Wilson then appearances in series short films and B-series films. It was in 2013 that she started to get noticed further. After being featured in six episodes on the show about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first regular role in the web-series Chosen featuring Milo Ventimiglia, the actress has been offered several projects. The role she plays is the first two seasons of the show in addition to giving the reply to Chad Michael Murray. She then played supporting roles in two feature films that are based on aircrafts. The first was a television movie for SyFy's Flight with actors from the television shows. Another one was Le Chaos with Nicolas Cage. The role she plays is that of a flight assistant. She together with Gabriel Luna share the poster for Matador the brand-new television series. This is a thriller that sees the actors play CIA agents, and is produced with director Robert Rodriguez however does not over a total of 13 episodes. They then continue to work on a pilot series which does not work out. The poster for Borrowed Moments, a B series romantic comedy, was shared with Brian Krause in 2015. She then appeared on the set of the comedy Witness for Rent which featured Kevin Hart Josh Gad Kad Cuoco. She is also part of a very large audience for Terrence Malick's speculative Knight of Cups. Also, she was in five episodes of the Satisfaction television series.
