Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood, an American television personality and comedian, is most well-known as host of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. She was brought up by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is a member of a troubled family. She was a lot of her youth caring for Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. Growing up, she had an uneasy relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl states that in one instance her mother stabbed her father because he was getting too close to her. Sheryl was a soldier upon her graduation from college. But her passion was comedy. She was the first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. In 1992 she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was a guest on Oh Drama! as the host in 2000. Presently, she is a co-host on the talk talk show from the year 2011. Also, she appears in fictional roles in popular shows such as Bulworth and Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
