Sheryl Underwood, a American television personality and comedian, is popular as the anchor of The Talk, a popular talk show that airs on daytime TV. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl comes out of the midst of a difficult background. She was a child who spent a lot of time taking care of her sister Frankie. Frankie was a patient of polio. Growing up, she had a difficult relationship to her maternal grandmother. Sheryl says that at one point she cut her father's hair due to his proximity. Following her college graduation Sheryl joined the military. Her passions were in comedy. She was selected as the first ever female finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search, that was held in the year 1989. She started her TV career as a frequent performer at the HBO Comedy Show Def Comedy Jam in 1992. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the T.V. program Oh Drama! Seit 2011, she is co-hosting the Talk show. In addition, she has appeared on fictional show like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
