Harry Edward Styles, known to the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British music producer and songwriter who is regarded as one of the members of the group One Direction. He is the son of Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on January 1st 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, in which he started his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which he named the White Eskimo. In 2009 they participated in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they won. There was always an interest for music. He was aspiring to be the next lawyer or physical therapy. He worked in a local bakery for a few hours to support families financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010. He sang Is not She Lovely, one of the Stevie Wonder song. He got selected. His group was forced to split up because of this. In the course of auditioning on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join a future band that would be called One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. The group sang the Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would Be Sucky without You as well as Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart throughout the competition. It made them one of the leading contenders. They were in third spot just behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle and won. Harry Styles' group didn't be victorious, but Cowell still paid 2 million pounds to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
