Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is a famous American actor, performer as well as a writer and director. Her most famous part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. In addition to that she's directed, produced and performed in her own film Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on January 8, 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle Benson is her sibling and an artist of distinction. Benson was born to a father who is Jewish while her mother is Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson's career has been booming following the ending of Buffy. She appeared in movies like The Killing Jar, and shows like Morganville The Series. When she was in front of the camera, she employed her creative writing abilities in writing the Ghosts of Albion and direct projects like the 2010's Drones. Buffy states that she's discovered and counted over 1800 Slayers, 500 of whom work with the Scooby Gang. Slayers become active when they are old enough to be a Slayer. Soledad for example became an Slayer at the age of 16. Ruth Connell will play Rowena on Supernatural Season 10. Apparantly she is a mysterious old-school witch.
