Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best known for House the Fox medical drama series. Growing up in Wayne within a conservative Jewish customs, she emigrated in New York City at the age of eighteen to study theater at Tisch school of arts. The school soon became a fixture in the club scene in New York and started making headlines. The press also noticed her. She then used her background and fame and her own experience to create and host a television show titled Positive Me. Soon after, she was hired by MTV to present Awake On The Wild Side. When it ended up going off the air, she was able to appear in films and television production at first in small roles before establishing herself as an actor.
