The role earned Selleck an Emmy nomination, and he was the director of the film. Selleck portrays a police commissioner, who is part of a multigenerational officer family in the Blue Bloods. The drama premiered on CBS in 2010 and was then revived. Also, he was part of the critically acclaimed comedy Three Men and a Baby which starred Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg. The comedy became the highest-grossing movie.
